CALL FOR PAPERS
The Fourth International Conference on Information and Communications
Security (ICICS’02), after three successful previous events ICICS’97
in Beijing, ICICS’99 in Sydney and ICICS'01 in Xian, is to
be held in Singapore. ICICS’02 is sponsored and organized
by Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Singapore in co-operation
with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Conference Topics
Original papers on all aspects of information and communications
security are solicited for submission to ICICS’02. Areas of
interests include but not restricted to the following:

in parallel to other conferences. We encourage submission of
papers discussing applied research and development.

Instruction
For Authors
All submitted papers must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations,
acknowledgements, or obvious references. It should begin with a
title, a short abstract, and a list of keywords . Papers should
be at most 14 pages excluding the bibliography and well-marked appendices
(using 11-point font and reasonable margins on letter-size paper),
and at most 19 pages total. Committee members are not required to
read the appendices, and so the paper should be intelligible without
them.
To submit a paper, send to icics02@lit.a-star.edu.sg
a plain ASCII text email containing the title and abstract of your
paper, the authors' names, email and postal addresses, phone and
fax numbers, and identification of the contact author. To the same
message, attach your submission (as a MIME attachment) in PDF or
portable postscript format. Do NOT send files formatted for word
processing packages (e.g., Microsoft Word or WordPerfect files).
Authors also can send 4 hard copies of their anonymous papers

Papers must be received by the deadline of 1 July 2002
. The camera ready copy of accepted papers will be requested in
electronic form by 1 September 2002. By this date authors will be
requested to have a confirmed registration to the conference.
Panel proposals should include a title,
an abstract which describes the topics to
be discussed, names of all proposed participants and assurance
that the participants agree to serve on the panel.
Conference
Proceedings
The proceedings of ICICS’02 will be published in Springer-Verlag’s
Lecture Notes in Computer
Science series and should be available at the conference. The
authors of papers therefore are urged to comply with the SV Authors
Instructions which are accessible from http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
